Are ship costume slots on the horizion?

Just wondering, with the plethora of ships ingame now I constantly feel torn between using the 'canon' film/show models such as the galaxy/defiant/sovvie/akira and the wonderful 'type 6' models that Cryptic are producing such as the Venture/sao paulo/regent/armitage.
But unlike with my maco/omega/bikini/whatever ground costume I cant change them easily when my mood takes me, it takes time and money to change, especially as the 'saved' ship costumes dont work now.
So is there any chance of getting ship costume slots (bought on the C-store) that can let us change ship costumes in sector/mission space?
Its not like it would unbalance things, it doesnt in ground pvp.
