Tailor Cosmetics - Slider options?

I wasn't sure how to search for such a thread, so if one exists, please direct me there.
What I am wondering is why I can't find a thread on Tailor options? Most games that allow character customizations have a thread on how to create particular characters.
On my klingon character I have an alien bridge officer who I made into a blue version of Cassidy from drozana in night of the comet, but I had to guess / eyeball at everything but the hairstyle and eyebrows.
I recently picked up an ensign placeholder off the exchange on the Federation side that reminded me of Mercedes "Mercy" McMary, the doomed security officer on the U.S.S. Shipname.
