I have been reading a lot of the threads, lurking, chillin. Getting my read on, know what I'm sayin? So, sippin' on some gin and juice and noticin' all the rep shizzle, and also fully aware of ST:O's predilection towards the almighty copypasta, what do YOU think will be comign down the pipe?
I have many predictions, but some of mine are:
1. A Devidian Rep system/Rep: This seems obvious and easy to do since ST:O is notorious of repackaging/copypasta'ing old content before making anything new, they will likely combine the Ghostbuster Gun, the Triolic Pattern Enhancer and the Phase-Shifted personal shield into some set. Since having random rewards breaks up the new "playing as intended" mentality, I see some sort of framework being applied to bring the outlier and heritage rewards inline with the new model/rewards schema. After all - we are data points now, not customers...
2. A Dominion Reputation Set - This seems obvious since there are some many available in-game assets to exploit, the copypasta can go wild! All that's needed is some combinations of 2 ground passives, 2 space passives and 1 active power and we're ready to go!
3. A Ferrengi Rep system - same as above. (First verse, same as the first...)
These are just to get started.
What do YOU guys think is going to happen? Not just in the long term, but in the short term as well?
