NPC Dialog Box with talking heads -- Can we zoom out?

So in the boxes where NPCs talk to us, in the old UI it was a traditional bust from well below the collarbone you could see part of their chest and arms. When your officers were scared you could see them holding up their hands. Now it's just a HUUGE talking face. You can barely see below the chin.

Is there a setting for changing this?

Can we get one?

I really don't like how zoomed in it is.
