Please, please, please, let us lifers have Liberated Borg Romulans. I know from a balance stance they've been, historically, overpowered as hell, but the visual customization options alone make them so fun to play.
I would echo that! As another LTS, I would love to get a 3rd 'Liberated' Race to play with. It'd be nice and in fitting with the game's canon too, considering the Romulans fascination with Borg technology.
I hope they don't use the Romulan fascination with Borg technology as a reason to not include them, since it's not the Romulan Republic using it. Surely there are still people that were saved from the Borg, or from the Romulans messing around with Borg technology?
I hope there is a Liberated Borg option for lifers. If not, it's just one more kick in the face from Cryptic to those of us who put up our money.
Edit: Looking at the Lifetime perks page. It doesn't say that the Liberated Borg is limited to just Klingon's and Human's. I hope this means we will be getting Liberated Rommie's. Hopefully there will be a Rommie Veteran forum title in green also.
Seems pretty likely there would be. After all, Romulan colonies being assimilated goes back to before Locutus was created.
That's a good point! With this republic TRIBBLE also. Romulan's being scattered all over the gamaxy, I'm sure the Borg might have stumbled across a few surviving ships full of displaced Rommie's.
I performed a similar experiment last night. I could get the Romulan casual wear clothes to work. Except for the scarf. My Seven of Nine add-on won't stick. As my Holodeck unlocks haven't been reflected on the newer Tribble builds.

Ah, I just used Borg Implant 7 on mine. Here's her Mirror 'sister':
I do have to say, the Romulan Neutral kit works well with the Cropped Winter Jacket. Now if only we could replicate this on Holodeck...

Edit: Did you mean "couldn't"? If so, ensure you have no free Federation character slots, and can only create a Klingon character. Then you can enter the character creator. It will load up your last character as the base model, and you can change it from there. I've glitched the editor into giving my various 'dream' Romulans things like Omega Force gauntlets on top of their jackets, and Mercenary arm pouches to go with them.

We even have one popping up in season 3 of Voyager: Romulan Borg.
