Resetting character but would I keep my purchased ship?

Hello,

I am thinking of restarting my federation/Starfleet character as I am bored to hell right now, I've made a lot of mistakes in ship, weapons and equipment whilst I've played.

But the problem is, I've purchased a Vice Admiral Ship with 2,500 ZEN called Dreadnought Cruiser (U.S.S. Olympic) yet when I reset it, I'm worried that I will have to pay another 2,500 ZEN for the ship once I reach Vice Admiral.

Or is the purchasing system like a licence, I can reclaim the ship once I reach VA again?

    ships purchased directly from the C-store are reclaimable. ships bought with ship tokens from rank up, or fleet ships, are not reclaimable.

    C-Store ships are account-wide unlocks and are available to all Faction characters on the account. Fleet ships are per-character only. So if you buy a ship from the C-Store any Fed character can use it. If you buy a ship from a Fleetbase store then only that character can use it.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    So your saying I would be able to get my ship back on my new Federation player after deleting my old one?

    Yes, you can get another ship when you reach VA.

    You do need the minimum rank required to claim a ship from the store. I?m not sure, but I think the Dreadnought Cruiser is Rear Admiral, Lower Half (40).

    Yes, once your new character reaches the require level to use that ship.

    Mistakes in ships, weapons and equipment can always be remedied without resorting to a complete restart. I'd urge you to at least keep your current character (and not delete it) until you feel happy with you new one.

    Currently, all mistakes can be rectified except trait choices, and that is on it's way.

    Why on earth would you delete a character?

    Edit: I was wrong lol. Anyways things like career path (tac, sci, eng), species, and gender could be reasons to delete and reroll.
