The Bortasqu' for Day of Honor

I have to say, I'm glad to see the KDF get a matching event to introduce the Klingon flagship's crew and hope to see more such things for the KDF over time.

Beaming onto the Bortasqu' to visit the bridge crew with the backdrop of the Klingon shipyard on one side and the sun of Qo'noS on the other outside the viewports is breathtaking. And a new design of bat'leth to cleave dishonorable enemies with is always delightful.

Though, on a related note, I noticed the player Bortasqu' bridge interiors have all had their exterior viewpoint views and bridge screens (used to show just a field of stars) altered to match... >_< ...undoubtedly without notice. Any chance of this getting changed back for the player bridges? I don't think it'd do to load into our own Bortasqu' bridges to see the trappings of Qo'noS orbital outside our windows sectors away!

And, just to ask ahead of time, think the Romulans are going to get a similar event to keep things evened out in the future?

We MEANT to do that. See. . YOU'RE at Qo'nos checking out the Bortas'qu right? so YOUR Bortas is also there, hence the same look. Eh? Eh? Not buying it huh. . . ?

The player bridge getting the same treatment was a slip up. The Environment team fixed this today. It probably won't get out to you guys before the Day of Honor is up, but your Bortas bridges should be back to normal in next week's patch.

    Sorry for the slip.

It's not the worst thing that could have happened.

Also, are you like some sort of TOS era taco species DCE doff? Maybe you could throw a fire extinguisher in your avatar.

It's no problem, not like we'd send ya'll into the agonizer booth or anything...but in the mirror 'verse...O_o

Thanks for putting the effort into the event, regardless of any minor slips! =) Again, appreciate the environmental details!

I personally don't mind it myself. I enjoyed seeing my Bortas bridge hovering over Qo'nos. Sure it was odd when instead I was at DS9 or some such, but it's a nice view, and I honestly hope you guys include similar things like that in the future.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Agreed. The bridge views add to the immersion and are wonderful to look at to boot. It probably isn't feasible, but it would indeed be great having a few different views from the bridge depending on which major starbase or system you were currently located, while leaving an open starfield for everything else. Too much work and separate maps to be creating and loading etcetera, but one can imagine. =)
