Tac captain going from Galor class to escorts.

Hey all, so for awhile I've loved my galor 8ut I really wanted to try escorts, so I got A mirror patrol escort pretty cheaply, and im wondering a8out setting it up for fairly high dps, now Im completely 8roke after throwing all of my EC at my Galor, so I just need some 8asic help on equipment. thanks guys.

If you want a cheap, effective build, start by looking up tac consoles, get four for whichever energy damage type is cheapest. Get 4 DHCs and 3 turrets of that damage type (2 turrets if you can get the KCB). Run "A Light in the Dark" once or twice for neutronium armors, for sci consoles try to pick up field generators and/or emitter arrays, and get the Assimilated Module and Zero Point Energy Conduit as soon as possible. For boff abilities, you can do this:

TT1, CSV1, APO1, APB3 (you should be able to train this)
TT1, CSV1, APO1
EPtS1, A2SIF1
EPtS1
HE1, TSS2

You'll want to rotate the attack patterns, TT, CSV, and EPtS continuously, the other heals will be for when you start to get hurt. That should be fairly effective and survivable for PvE, for PvP you'd want CRF (people will come down on both sides for PvE, but I tend toward CSV).

And yeah, skillplanner can be very good, but a lot of the builds are also very poor. If you don't go in knowing what's good, you might wind up with something terrible.
