What's the number you see in the center bottom of the Cryptic crash tracker that pops up?
Thanks!
Zero I'm having a similar crash in my Tribble game client. I know what is causing my crash. I suspect it may the source of his crashes as well. My last player character's avatar is 'Erick 1' is (trying) to be rendered as his ship avatar and not his ground avatar.
This happened after I zoned into Drozona ground map as my ship. I logged out back to Character Selection screen. 'Erick 1' showed as his ship on the Character Selection window and crashed immediately. It crashes at the same spot everything.
Error number for me is 19918046.
A work around is to delete the offending character. Could you please delete 'Erick 1' from my account on Tribble (handle @fuzun).

no idea, after this started the crash tracker thing closes too fast to grab it. Personally i'm sick of asking for help because it seems to me cryptic is going out of its way to avoid doing the one thing I asked them to do, delete my characters on tribble.
So I was outside ESD in my shuttle and I docked, however when I appeared on ESD I was displaying the model of my shuttle... a few minutes later, the game crashed. Now when I start up on tribble, the game crashes at the character select screen. I would love to get you a screen shot but... alas, can't.
I have precisely the same problem. My character appeared as my ship in ESD. I logged off. When I attempt to log back on to Tribble the program crashes immediately upon the character select screen comes up. Tried force verify, tried safe mode. Nothing works.
craptic finally chose to respond to my ticket again... here's the latest
Craptic:
Thank you for your response, we apologize for the delay. We are unable to delete characters from the test server as we do not have support for that server. We apologize for the inconvenience. The only option that we can suggest at this point is a client reinstall.

TRIBBLE you very much cryptic.
Before you waste your time, reinstalling your client does not work.
I already went down that road. Check out the link in my last post!
Reply for devs. The ID for the bug with my client that matches this thread is 19918046.
My character is the one that skeeter posted earlier in this thread as the JHEC.
I can no longer login to the tribble server as I keep getting crash reports the moment it tries to load the character sprite on the character select screen. I suspect it has something to do with the last patch you implemented.
Edit:
Just for funnies, this is a screenshot I took 2 days ago when I tried to land on New Romulus and the screen I got. I'd love to have my ship on ground missions with it's full hull and shields intact.
Man I could swear I posted about this already, but I don't see my response anywhere.
We're working on a resolution for this currently. No, we can't easily delete specific characters from a server--it's a manual process that CS doesn't have access to.
Instead we're going to fix up any characters that have gotten into this weird state, and fix the crash, also.
tl;dr: check back next week; it should be fixed then.
I appreciate the time you are taking into this. As this is a test server issue, I'm not upset (That's what testing is about) and just glad we can hopefully hammer out these issues as they come along so that when it goes live we don't end up making the live server the test server.

I've made a thread about this, including my Error Handler Ticket ID.
