What's this big cloud of smoke in fleet alert

This giant cloud of smoke showed up in a fleet alert pug and covered the whole starbase for several minutes. It was huge and I've never seen it before.

    That's trippy. It is April Fools Day and Cryptic is a fan of messing with the players, could be a little bit of fun on their part.

    It's a "Space-Travelling Vampiric Entity Cloud"... :eek:

    someone opened up the cargo bay of one of the twenty billion tactical escort ships that were out there and boxes full of smoke grenades exploded
