Finally wrote my article on Legacy of Romulus

As probably, like, two of you may remember, I write for a geek journalism website. I occasionally write about STO, though my last article was during the forum uproar about space bunnies.

Its' been a little while, is what I'm saying.

Last night, a glitch or a bug or something occurred, and I got screen shots, and decided that I should write an article about it. So I did. And here it is.

    It would make me *really* happy. It would also make me more likely to do all the stupid grinding to get the MAACO and other OMEGA outfits. I mean, I'm not the type to go "I'LL NEVER PLAY AGAIN!" because I'm not stupid, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that when I found out the OMEGA outfit was not a Uniform, I stopped playing for about a week.

    I also enjoy "costuming" :P but the face/head model always puts me off putting any real effort into it.

    It NEVER looks like what it does while in the create mode, as soon as you return to the game it's puffy eyes and dark shadows etc etc.

    Although I would like to see a lot more costumes added, I fear I'll never see even 1% of the ones I would consider paying extra money for.

    I wish they'd sell outfit packs, like they do with ships. Get three outfits for, I dunno, 1400 Zen or something.

    I'd buy 'em. In a freaking heartbeat.

    As long as my alien shape-changer can change gender, I will support this idea. Otherwise, put the ugly top back on Rambimbo! :P

    Thank you, with all the.....flak, lets say, that Cryptic has thrown at us Romulan fans lately this was a much needed laugh.

    Now now. The way to garner more rights for yourself is not by ensuring others do not have theirs :P

    I agree it should be that way by default - rather than the silly arbitrary restrictions we have on things currently. It can be a really nice way to customize your boffs when it happens - especially if you want them to have an atypical backstory.
