Did anyone else hope that during the mission, "Past Imperfect", your ships weapons would be so overwhelmingly powerful that you'd just blow all the enemies away with one shot just like "In a Mirror Darkly pt. II"-ENT where they have the Defiant and they're able to defeat any other ship?
Part of me would have enjoyed that, but I understand why they decided to have the future B'Vat soup-up the old KDF ships to make them 25th Century capable.
Plus, I think it makes the Enterprise seem cooler that it could withstand fighting advanced ships.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Nope.
Team up, with a Low level toon, who has skipped most of the missions to not overlevel for it, scale down to his level, enter mission, unscale level, fire everything and watch 'splosions!
