I don't think Brandon is back from Pax yet. He might be back in the office tomorrow, though.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Well, they just took a bunch of questions for Ask Cryptic, which focused a lot on LoR. So I would be surprised if we didn't see some answers to those questions late this week.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
thats pwe's stance on information these days it seems
hurry up and wait
Are you saying Cryptic was somehow different when it was with NCSoft or Atari? Cryptic's name has fit them very well over the last decade.
And every time Dan's leaked a little extra he's ended being lambasted for it when plans changed. So in the grand scheme of things it's better to just let the marketing people deal with it.

It's also a great way of making sure everything gets tested in good time.
I thought the whole ordeal was hilarious. First it's all over the forums about it being a romulan faction.
Then the german webpage gets leaked prior to the deadline. And in between all that people already predicted eachother's reactions and the reactions to reactions.
Basically we went over all this a month ago.
And it's just funny how they try to control something but the user base is on a whole other plane way above it.
Expect dev blogs to start next week or so, and the Ask Cryptic should be up this Friday. Lots of answers and info between then and May.
Cheers,
Brandon =/\=
Seldomly has evil triumphed as brutally clear as today.
Countless men and women will toil under the unforgivable eye of the shift supervisor known as internet. Mining for Dilithium, EC and Marks with their bare hands these people have to survive by the measly scraps that are thrown down from the cryptic tower. The once full baskets of bread and butter are empty and the stream bringing fresh water has dried out. All this is accentuated by the signpost infront of this with the inscription "Come back next week". Nobody can imagine the horros that humanity will have to go threw in order to keep itself alive now that they will have to run on no information. But they will do what they have to do in order to survive. Wild speculation and posting threads of what the bread might look like will only be the beginning of this neverending terror. Truly, a marvelous victory of evil.

I'm guessing that the 'bread' is going to be 'Rye-mulan' and be greenish in color from the long growing 'Mold-gai'.

While you guys are frittering away your chance to catch lightning in a bottle, EQ-2 is busy announcing its latest patch notes! Did you know after the servers come back up that Creeping Fingers can now be sized EVEN LARGER?
What have you done for us lately Cryptic? What have you done for us lately?

I must get as many as I can for the 4 modules before there would be a discount on the fleet version LOL.

I'm afraid to make further purchases without knowing what that beasty will bring to the table.

I see a huge disconnect there

But oh well, until they fix my gear I will be complaining here instead of playing so it won't matter if they released 30 blogs a day

Perhaps. But it's not like I used the language in a forum post. Just linked to a video.
