Fed fleet looking for "merger" with KDF fleet
Hi all,
I'm the admin for GAFleet, a Federation fleet mostly comprised of people who visit www.neogaf.com (which I'm sure many of you have heard of).
We've been debating whether or not to create a "House of GAF" fleet for a while now, and I think the consensus is that while we *could* do that, our main focus has always been on our Fed characters and thus progression would be slowed for both if we create a new Starbase...
I think the best solution is for us to join an existing KDF fleet. Ideally we'd want to "merge", where our KDF alts join the new fleet, and the new fleet's FED alts join ours.
We're all pretty casual players - we don't have any real fleet rules beyond "no store access below 50k Fleet Credits". We don't have quotas or anything like that.
So, if someone wants to make us an offer for a like-minded KDF fleet we could join (who would in turn want to join our fleet), I'd be very grateful!

I would be happy to merge, if its alright. But I should say we are pretty small.

As Walshicus mentioned, we would be hoping for a fairly reciprocal exchange in this regard. It seems that most players in this game make their Feds their primaries, with their KDF characters just being alts. We're hoping to find a fleet where the reverse is true, so that most of the Fed alts of the original KDF members of the fleet are currently unattached.
We might not be the most developed fleet, but we'd love to have you join us. We even have a Federation Fleet, which you could align (not join as you have your own fleet to start with) for such things as STF's etc.
Our fleet also are based out of a website and many of us have been friends for years some going back to almost 10 years now.

Tides of War has a strong Fed side, and a weaker KDF fleet that we all play on, but that needs more active members.
if you and your members are interested, you would be welcome to merge your KDF players into our KDF and Fed Fleet, and make one big happy family.

We are an active fleet and are recruiting new members! We do not have a level requirement and are excited to accept players from Lieutenant to Vice Admiral. We have interests in both PvE and PvP. We are increasing the number of coordinated fleet events but there is no pressure to participate. We frequently offer in-game contests for top-level gear as bounties for hard to find resources for the starbase. We actively run STFs and Fleet missions cooperatively. We have master crafters for those who would like an item but don't have the time or resources to max their crafting skills.
Our members have a wide array of interests in game.
- Do you enjoy crafting and exploration?
- Have a hankering for a good PvP battle or challenge?
- Working on getting that last piece of Mk XII STF gear?
- Looking for company while doing your dailies and mission replays?
We have fleet members that enjoy all those things - and more! It's hard to say a fleet is one size fits all, but our interests are both diverse and shared. You can play as much or as little as you like. We have some that can only play a few hours a week while others play daily.
Tides of War is more than just a fleet - we are a community. We have club members that play a variety of games. Look at our forums and see just how much fun you can have joining Tides of War. From Deepolis, to World of Tanks, to Call of Duty, to Battlefield 3, to Star Trek, and everywhere in between: Tides of War can be your home for friends with which to enjoy those games. Having recently acquired an inactive/abandoned fleet and having started it on the path of progression, i would love to have your members come on board, in fact i would really appreciate the help that your player-base could bring to the fleet.
We could organise it so that your fleet would have a home (currently Tier 1.75 SB), a solid command structure (consisting ofmany of your players) and enjoy the KDF to its full potential.
