Demo Record / Playback - How to remove the HUD?

I've recorded a demo with Demo Record, and I'm playing back the file with -demoplay. I get into the demo just fine and pretty much all of the demo I've recorded work. The one problem I'm facing is that I don't know how to remove the UI bar that shows the rewind, stop, pause play, fast forward buttons. Any tips on this area?

I'd like to record this with FRAPS, but I can't as I don't want that UI element in there.

    yes im aware that this is a resurrection
    but i would like to know how to be rid of the ui in demo record any info provided would be much appreciated

    the normal, in game method of removing the UI? ALT+F12
