With all this hype about the new Romulan faction which is great, don't get me wrong... however what about more endgame content for Federation and Klingon characters who are not interested in playing Romulan.

Will we have more STF's, more Fleet Actions, introductions of "raids" or something similar to give some decently hard and unique endgame content to the game. I'm aware of the Tholian Reputation System which makes me sigh because I hated the Omega and Romulan ones but will we actually have anything more to do at Endgame... or is Cryptic simply just putting in the Romulans and not expanding endgame?

Did you even read it? I do see Tholian Reputation in there don't I? How do you expect us to earn it?

I expect a lot of dev blogs over the next 2 months. I'm going to wait until closer to the time before I start fretting over what I don't know yet.

Currently, there are only 4 WAYS to earn Romulan marks from events in the PvE Queue at the moment so I just do not want the Tholians to have the same bland, repeatable content that grinding for Romulan marks did.

I just wanna see more STF's and Fleet Actions too because this game really needs stuff to do at Endgame before we can start thinking about new factions.

Just trying to be logical, WoW had their endgame content out before they released the Dreanei and Bloodelves. Just sayin... At least then we would have something to do rather then PvP at Endgame.

Though the thought of 3-way PvP, Federation and Klingon fighting and a fleet of Warbirds decloaks and joins in, gets me somewhat excited.

One does have to keep in mind that, though they may have expanded their development team significantly. . .Cryptic still has limits. They still have to prioritize. They can't do everything at once.

However, I feel we'll be getting something in the way of endgame content in the form of another reputation grind (as if we didn't have enough to keep track of). It's not much or terribly creative, but it's something.

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing how this affects PvP in zones like Ker'rat. KDF players will certainly have to watch their backs to make sure Romulans don't stick a blade into it.

They will be piloted by feds, so most likely charge in at full impulse, fire an alpha at about 5 power and then whine and complain why the ship didn't die.

Oh come on, we will let you fight with the feds, then try to stab you. You will be too busy to watch your back.
Or we may manipulate your fellow Klingon brother to do all the dirty work for us. You are so easy to mainipulate, see all the proud Klingons warrior roaming on New Romulus, tagging space rabbits and sampling water.

I saw somewhere mention was made of a new group of STFs coming with the May Expansion. Romulan focused of course. ;)

Given the % of the game that plays Feds to Klingons now, it's kind of surprise they are bringing in a new faction. I don't even think Klingon players make up 1/5th of the subscriber/player base. I would imagine Romulans will be popular, then once the shiny newness wears off people will go back to their Fed characters and back to the end game grind at level 50.

To me the Tholian rep is just another end game grind, big deal. What I want is more content to play at end game in terms of story missions. They have a huge opportunity with the Borg/Undine and yet when you get there at end game it's like 8 total missions involving each of them combined and that's it, you never see them again except if you run STFs or Terradome. Two of the most interesting factions in Star Trek history and you get a measly handful of story missions with them that take an hour to complete. Why is it I have to spend half the game on Bajor or messing around with the Cardassians and DS9 yet I only get to play with the Borg/Undine for 5 minutes? I enjoy the Klingon/Romulan sections of the story, but really think rather then dump a whole new faction they need to improve what is at end game already in place rather than just give us another rep grind system and an STF and other TRIBBLE to go with it.

I'd also just fathom a guess that 1-20 for Klingons is just going to be re-skinned existing Fed content.

By farming the already existing Tholian content? I'd be cautious of saying there will be "new" content to farm for a new rep system.

    That would be... unwise.

To be honest with a new UI, I will be very interested in building up both Klingon and Romulan characters. From my perspective it seems that the Fed game has become glutted with items and developers are having such a dry spell of creativity that they have turned to releasing alien ships rather than releasing new unique Federation designs.
This is a game, not a career, so restarting and playing a different way appeals to me more then grinding away at end game content.

FE's bought the 'farm' at S7 rollout. There is no endgame except farming. Heck STF's are now a farming activity of the rep system. I vaguely remember the Tholian farm (S6 ??) the couple days I played it, but it got old faster than the daily datalog mission at the academy.
