..Do Something hardly anyone ever does.

Like i did here in this Video.

(It's related to fighting Dreadnoughts, Alone.)

    I defeated two once, a Tholian Tarantula and a Klingon Borastqu', But then again, they attacked each-other too, so i can understand.

    hardly anyone ever does.... you mean a engeener captain in a galaxy x fighting 3 NPC galaxy x cruiser and managed to DIE???!!! under their pathetic unbuffed beam and their torpedo spread 2 ?
    yeah that sure is something i hardly ever done before... even in my tactical captain flying a galaxy x.

    is that was a joke or i am missing something?

    Come now.. Don't be a jerk, i was simply fooling about and thought i'd post that video for entertainment purposes, it's also there to show that it's possible to fight Dreadnoughts alone, i mean.. look how long i lasted against three, One shouldn't be a problem for me.

    COMING UP: I will fight a single Dreadnought, Alone, Which of the following should i battle?

    A: Klingon Vo'quv/Borastqu' (I can't choose which spawns)

    B: Terran Odyssey/Jupiter/Galaxy X (Same as above)

    C: Fek'ihri Drek'Hi Dreadnought

    D: Tholian Tarantula

    E: Breen Rezereth Destroyer (Sometimes called Siege Destroyer)

    F: (This will probably never end because it Cloaks too much for me to do anything considerable to it) Reman/Romulan Scimitar Dreadnought

    Fek'ihri. Only one I haven't been able to reliably solo on my escort (Tholian's not so much hard as annoying, just takes forever and falls apart really fast if you get caught in that small web freeze thing).

    my point is, if you ever thaught that this is some kind of challenge, your wrong.
    it would have been if you were in a tiers1 cruiser.

    what impressed me is not how much you last, but the fact that you succeded to die, i am sorry but this shoudn't happened.
    it should not have happened since your are an ingeneer in a cruiser, and i it is show in the video your are fighting in defnse mode.
    of course it is possible to fight 1 of these dread alone, and i telling you what, i am capable to kill these 3 npc alone, it may take long since i fly a failaxy x, but they will certainly not kill me that for sure.

    I never saw the Tarantula do a "Web Freeze" Of any kind.

    I don't know what to call it. It can do something like the Bortasq's subspace snare and teleport you in front of it, then hits you with... something. Puts a tiny tholian web graphic around your ship and locks out most abilities and does hull damage over time. You basically have to hope you have enough heals that aren't locked out (if I remember right, hazard emitters won't work, but engineering team and aux2sif do) to survive.

    Seems to be a frontal attack, never been hit with it off the back half.

    Interesting.. i will have to try to get hit by it and see what it does..

    I believe the weapon you guys are referring to is the Tarantula's "Web Cannon" ability. Similar in use to the Scimitar's Thalaron projector, but instead once the ability goes off, you're hit with somewhere in the ballpark of 40k damage, and immediately locked down with a high damage DOT on you until the hold breaks. Had this happen to me in several Fleet Alert missions. Even managed to survive a few. :D

    The Web Cannon actually cone-based-AoE, which is why I compared it to the Scimitar as opposed to the Galaxy-X or Bortasqu', whose forward-facing special attack is linear-based and single target.
