I don't get it. Cryptic, you're calling this an expansion. So I hopped over to the teaser site to look at the pre-order prices and the tentative list of features and...
- No pre-order hype.
- No list of potentially useless virtual junk to get for pre-ordering.
- No price list with different packages such as an "Ultimate Edition" enticing me to spend more money than I should.
I don't get it. Is it a paid expansion? Or is all this awesome stuff coming in a *gasp* free update?

Thanks for the heads up. That's more awesome than I can express.
And the best part?
Totally Free Update.
Until somebody thinks its smart to start selling Romulan Starter Packs with a Lifetime Sub for $200. :P
(Hopefully current LTSers get the bonus immediately if they do.)
"Last Engage! Magical Girl Origami-san" is in print! Now with three times more rainbows.

Thanks for Harajuku. Now let's get a real "Magical Girl" costume!
considering saide fro mthe temporal/mirror ships, there arent any faction specific ships in lockboxes, i'd wager the scimitar would be c-store item.
Or that Scimitar counts as the Romulan 1000-Day ship as it transforms and has a super attack.
Quite possible. but i'd think the standard scimitar would be available to everyone...
Maybe one of the borgified Rom/Reman ships would be the Veteran ship. I'd love to Pilot Donatra's scimitar.
I could see them using the Scimitar as the bundle counterpart of the Oddessy and Bortasqu. They're all roughly 'Dreadnoughts' and they would make a ton of money off of it.
Consoles could the Thalaron beam, a Phased cloaking device that works similar to the T5 New Romulus rep ability, and perhaps something involving scorpion fighters.
It?s not certain to me, any one knows ?
I know a lot of you have been around much longer than I (joined late in Season 6), but it's clear that it has taken a long time to get this far. But it really seems like STO is a game on the up.

Not likely , but with the introduction of new traits there may be a trait reset , the same as there was a skill reset when the skill tree was re-done .
In a way yes .
But it also comes at the cost of ppl spending hundreds of dollars on lockbox keys , with relatively few getting exactly what they want .
Plus in a way this too is a gamble (IMHO) , as this is Cryptic's trial of "if they build it they will come" .
And now Cryptic will make a ton of money when people buy *the same lockbox ships* for their Romulan character! Diabolical

why would anybody need a lockbox ship for a Romulan toon?
(ok, i might have one Tuffli prepared)
this is the end of the BUG!
