Artwork questions

Did Anyone else notice on the 'To Boldly Go..." wallpaper, that the E is using the incorrect 'neck'? It has the auxiliary impulse engines on it.

EDit: nevermind, that's the port nacelle back behind it.

Also, that most recent screenshot, 'Some will Fall' looks a lot like 'Hero Guy' carrying 'Hot Vulcan Chick'.

    But it's not. Last I checked Vulcans have more than 2 fingers...

    Looks more like an Orion to me. (Note teh bare legs) But eh, we'll find out soon enough.

    Her feet are bare, but she may have pants on, you never know.

    Orions also have more than two fingers, so I don't think she's Orion.

    I see no pants. Also, the fingers are a clear indication of the lazy artist who couldn't be bothered to draw them all, and thus hid them behind the perspective of the hand.

    I see no skirt either, so either she's naked (possible, hence the shadowing) or she's wearing something that might be pants. It might not conversely as well.

    That's not perspective of the hand, and the artist has put some detail on her toes, so I don't think it's lazy artwork either. She has two fingers by design, like the blue freaks at the end of the Romulan Rep.

    But there's a wee bit of cloth around her bum-ish area. Could be one of those Orion-sash-thingies.

    And speaking of toes... why would something have ten toes, but only six fingers? :confused:

    There was clearly just a fire/explosion of some sort. For all you know, she lost a couple fingers in the blast.

    Also, I subscribe to the "forced perspective" camp. I can quite easily make my hand look like I have 3 fingers, so I have no doubt the artist did the same thing here. Probably had reference material, and just copied the general form.

    I'm not the first to say this, but the man appears to be wearing Romulan shoulderpads, which would eliminate phaser guy and make phaser girl less plausible, though not impossible.

    as we know, i am the only living woman playing computer games, so my guess:
    it could be "the fellow VA" rescuing Sela from an Iconian liar (in which case the logotype in the background is wrong) while the world descends into plasma fire.

    also, he could be rescuing Donatra from the borg, cause that is what her hair looks like - wires..

    Shhhhh, don't spook them... they might start thinking that the May update has something to do with Romulans! ;)

    I don't think that's what the Taco was referring too...
