Boff and ship setup lacking depth.

When trying to figure out viable setups for a ship, people will usually notice that, while there are tons of possible configurations, only a very small amount is going to be effective.

Weather it's that certain Boff skills completely overshadow other ones on their tier, too much weapon drain when stacking certain types of weapons, GCD lockout of weapon types and Boff skills or a small number of good consoles vs. a ton of useless ones.

For example, a PvE-Escort build will most likely end up looking like this:

Tac: En: 2x Tac Team, Lt/LtCdr: 4x weapon modifiers/2x modifiers+2x AP, 1x [Skill of your choice]

In addition to that probably one EP2-power, Rev. Polarity and HE, leaving only 2-3 slots in the whole build, where the player ends up having a choice.

There is a similar thing going on when choosing equipment. In PvE, things like weapon loadout and console-choice also seems rather pre-determined. Certain consoles seem to be 'must-haves' as they simply outperfom anything else on that particular slot, leaving the actual number of choices very slim.

It would be nice to see some of the useless attributes (+power setting or crew-related consoles) getting a buff and to have viable alternatives to certain boff skills. Things that would come to mind might be having boff skills with abilities that could offer alternatives to current ones (e.g. people having to make a real choice between 2 Ensign TTs on their Escort or 1 TT + 1 powerful new skill).

Anything that could offer worthwhile alternatives to current run-of-the-mill builds.
