Are Infected: The Conduit mission become much harder from few days ago?
I mean that Nanite Spheres now spawning nonstop from moment when you destroy 4 Nanite Generators. My option is that now mission is too hard while Spheres is re-spawning!!
It been quite easy now is too hard (my random team win in it for last time before 3-4 days ago)
I just did ISE yesterday and it was as easy as ever, we took down the NG with our combined DPS within 5-10 seconds of destroying the secondaries and the Nanite spheres never even get close.
Don't do it with random pubs, join up with some guys in the EliteSTF channel.
Comes down to pugging I think. There have been instances where I thought the same but realized quickly it was more about team play and how they built their ships more so than the game being made more difficult. Timing is everything and if you have members not able to pull their weight, your going to get overwhemled by spheres.
This is NOT a criticism of team mates btw, just my observation. Either way, its a game and whether it takes me 5 min or 20 min to complete the same level matters little to me providingteam mates don't bail part way through or go AFK.
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." - Rocky Balboa (2006)
don't feel bad i got booted form a fleet for telling them how to do infected properly and how ive done it and seen it done quick and easy ( and the wiki isnt perfectly right )
See my other post for issues i have had since....and i spent 4 days upping my klingon from 21st to 41st to on way to 44th to try omega with kling's
my feds 50th and ive seen some pretty bad pve's but i didnt quit i even complained here about it, why if two people quit right away should the rest of us NON quiters get a 1 hr ban.....anyhow
so i join a new fleet and now i can't play my kling....but ya omega is same as always as far as my fed one can tell.
if you get one or two people that A) aren't loaded to do battle with borg aren't knowing where ot be when things happen
C) quit
well it gets a load harder
we did the scimitar wiht two people once...i just went nuts and postally attacked it with the other guy.....
OH and sometimes people disconnect so its not always they booking it.
OH and you will have fun if that scimitar on the other level starts chasing you...lol
I don't know about harder, but it did get a slight boost. Previously only nanite spheres and probes would start rolling out. Now they have a normal sphere with them. That only used to happen when on Elite, at least on every Conduit I ever went on. A minor annoyance to be sure, but it changed nanite patrol from "sit, wait, and unload" to "huh, we got a shooter now."

Yes it definitely got AI behavior + spawning changes. BUT WE DON'T GOT PATCH NOTES OF THIS CHANGES!!
My option is that originally this mission been very easy but now is too hard for same award. (IT IS VERY HARD TO PASS IF YOU DON'T GOT OR HAVE TEAM WITH XP AND RIGHT SHIPS)
So I think that will be best if ST ONLINE staff CAN programing map, on way that it recognize the type of ship which going to play matches and modify Spheres parameters to match it.

nah, its actually still the easiest STF, here is a tip, if you're flying a regular FED cruiser or KDF cruiser with beams (judging by how you think its "hard", you probably are), don't, get an escort or a carrier, and do some decent DPS, if you still want to fly a cruiser anyway, get an excelsior or a regent(fleet version preferably) at least, the tanking capacity of a cruiser is almost meaningless in a STFs atm, everything is damage, damage, damage.

You know, I ran this 20 minutes ago with a full team of beamboat cruisers. We cleared it with optional and a good 2 minutes left on the timer.
Sorry mate, it isn't any harder. Still TRIBBLE easy.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.
I have noticed more failed optionals and had my first encounter with 2 against the Tac Cube in recent days. The mission has not changed. ISE is still the least difficult of the original 3 space STFs. The problem has been players in PUGs who don't now the mission.
The Karfi driver who sent his frigates and focused fire on the left side front gate side generator while the rest of us were still killing the cube and he WOULD NOT STOP.
The guys that fire on undamageable targets when the generators are still up.
They arrogant goons who just won't grab the other generator that no one has fired on while double teaming or triple teaming someone else's generator.
The fool who then trash talks instead of taking advice after doing one of the above.
The problem is the players. The mission is the same

It could be a fluke, but when a three-man team from my fleet along with 2 puggies did this a few days ago, we were getting one-shotted by spheres. Mind you, we're all spec'd for STFs (MkXII [BORG] weapons and Maco gear)and I've personally run ISE more times than I can remember.
Like I said, it could be a fluke, but it raised an eyebrow nonetheless.
The one shotting is quite random and can make ISE seem harder. Other than that I have not noticed any changes or increase in difficulty. Just keep BFAW or Evasive Maneuvers handy, and don't sit too close to the gate.

welcome to the club. I was hated out from my fleet just because I clearly was better than them and aimed higher (no arrogance here, they literally said that I was aiming too high, lol), and I wasnt afraid to talk my mind when they were bad (hell one time I took out a whole side in KASE -with one guy on the probes but not doing anything else- while they killed a whole cube on the other ^^)

equipment wont guarantee success. just sayin...
to OP: no it did not get harder, it is easier if anything else (tho it might be simply seeing my improvemenets at work, lol)
Maybe the percentage chance of high damage from spheres got a bump? I've noticed with our regular team (yes, we run Elites mostly unless we are leveling a n00b and are specced for such) that the spheres have been feasting on raw meat. I spend a substantial amount of time on fire, even with HE going full blast.
"Susse-thrai" had been the name bestowed upon her, half in anger, half in affection, by her old crew on Bloodwing; the keen-nosed, cranky, wily old she-beast, never less dangerous than when you thought her defenseless, and always growing new teeth far back in her throat to replace the old ones broken in biting out the last foe's heart. Romulans: left one homeworld, lost another, third time's the charm?

No, there has been no change. Nanite Spheres always did keep respawning if you took long enough to kill off the transformer, and there always has been a regular sphere with the group too.
All they've done is instill a "Run To Mommy" strategy in the Spheres.
When they start taking damage they run towards the Gate or Tac Cube.
You should not be coming within 10km of either Gate or Tac Cube until it's time to kill them and focus on just one of them while keeping the other farther than 10km. (Or out of line of fire)
You are correct, but the hundreds of sucessful eSTF runs it took to get them surely counts for something.
I have seen 1000 day veterans with all the fancy gear of the interwebz, that spent all them days playing stfs and all that, yet they did no more than 4k dps. so I have to say, no dat dont matter either

I used to do this, but I stopped. Frankly after 300+ runs a lot of us can do STFs in our sleep. Now I intentionally stay in range of stuff that can kill me simply to keep me paying attention and making it a bit harder. It's fun trying to take the gate down whilst trying to tank the cube! Someone usually accidentally aggros it with a pet anyway so it's on the prowl. Instead of getting the group to change focus to the cube from the gate, just tank the cube and carry on as you were :P
Keeps you in the edge of your seat, frantically mashing hazard emitters and TT1 to try and keep your shields and hull up - I recommend you try it if you're bored with ISE.
OP: I sincerely doubt it, you probably just had a few groups.

I use Advanced Escort with MVAM, here is details - almost all items in my ship is rare expect is Torpedoes and set items
I know that this not too powerful weapons in game (that would be better if I buy some very rare mk XII weapons from Fleet store but I can do that now because I spare Dilithium for Borg or MACO Mk XII set)
Yes seems that I for last weekend have very weak teams and this be main reason for falling I:TC mission, yesterday I win in this mission 4 times in row...

Stick with one energy type, polarized disruptors are disruptors not polarons.
Drop both Transphasic Compressors and add 2 more Polaron Phase Modulators.
I'd also drop the MVAM console for the Assimilated Module (adding yet another Polaron console in it's place in the tactical slots). Furthermore I'd also drop the Shield Emitter Amplifier for the [Console - Universal - Zero Point Energy Conduit] from the Romulan Reputation. Also replacing the Emitter Array with a Field Generator is something you should consider.
