Photon Missiles? Missing Weapons?

Question What happened to the Photon/Other Missiles?

If my Star Trek Tech Memory serves me right, we are missing those.

    We really arent. To my knowledge there were only two appearances by "missle" type weaponry - the first in Enterprise as the initial weapons loadout of the NX-01 (replaced by photonic torpedoes at the beginning of the Xindi conflict, which are clearly meant as the antecedent for "modern" photons) and the second in TNG by a Ferengi D'kora (which we have in-game).

    Missiles are generally inferior to torpedos, and that holds true even in game.

    look in the lobi store. I decided to try to make a nx class ship for pure roleplay, I have turrets on it and the lobi store missiles on the ship. Its a blast to watch fight, the missiles have a cool circular path since they don't always go straight.
