I'm a TAC running a Kamarag Retro. I have four Tactical Console slots. I'm running a pure Disruptor build: 4 Plasma-Disruptor Hybrid DHCs in the front and 4 Turrets in the back.
The Induction Coils provide 24% Disruptor damage.
The Prefire Chambers provide 16% Cannon weapon damage.
Do the DHCs benefit from Induction Coils since they're Disruptors, or benefit from Prefires since they're Cannons?
It's generally more useful to use the ones that specifically buff your weapon-type.
The more general beam- cannon- and torpedo consoles are not really useful these days unless you have a mixed loadout of different weapon types like for example Phasers and Disruptors and Tetryons and Polarons and... (also known as a Technicolor build) which is in itself an offense against decent shipbuilding.;)
wow! a feddie is asking for advice from KDF
but in all seriousness, bitemepwe has covered all bases in his answer. However, flying a fed ship with disruptor will lit you like a traitor among your kind
Grinding for MkIV epic gear?
