So now that I have played all spotlight missions, this means, that Cryptic rewards me more by fast-clicking through a known spotlight mission, than to go to the monster-list and play a new unknown mission.
Shouldn't playing new content be rewarded more than grinding old content?
Can't they make something like:
"double dilithium for a foundry mission you have not played yet" (max 1 per day)
This would encourage the playing of new content. There is so much new content, but it seems not utilized.
Of course I will play it anyway just to see the story. Replay grinding is annoying.
I honestly think it's best to just not mess with it anymore at this point.
Agreed. The problem with getting people to play new missions stems more from the current search and rating functions. The spotlights are better left out of it.
I think at this point, the best thing to do would be for them to focus on a UI overhaul.

Ya the op has a decent idea. I am guessing these kind of changes must be easier than redesigning the interface or it would have been done by now.
UI change would definitely not be easy. It'll require work by the UI Artist, then UI programmers and all the behind the scenes code to handle everything the new UI would do.
