Stealth Nerf today?

The anti borg ground weapons from the omega reputation system were nerfed today

today they count every hit as a shot so you only get a few shots with the rifle before you have to remodulate

3 to 5 shots and Remod even with the reputation Remod passive

20+ shots with the regular maco rifle

It was 20+ shots yesterday with the Anti borg rifles

Intentional Nerf or a misatake the weapons are not useable now so dont waste your dilithium on them guys

Im just glad i only bought 1

There was no patch today, so nothing could have changed from yesterday to today.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that how it's always been? That's why everyone uses Pulsewaves and Sniper Rifles almost exclusively against the Borg due to the higher damage per shot rate.

They changed it a bit to be friendlier toward rapid-fire weapons but yeah, the borg adapt slower to slower-firing rifles on average so you want to use the weapons with the highest damage per shot.

They have been this way for over a year. That's why nobody uses full-autos and miniguns against the Borg, except for a handful who know what they're doing.

Its the High density Beam rifle

for 3 games it adapted quickly , now its working as its soposed too

it goes for approx as many shots as the maco rifle

This happened to 3 team members so its tied to the instance your in I guess

The anti borg rifles are working right now , No idea why they failed then repaired themselves.

For the last 4 games they have worked the right way , go figure

These rifles work better than any other rifles we have tried verses the borg , Well worth their high cost

There is a certain degree of randomness to Borg adaptation. You were just unlucky.

A slight correction.

ranged rifles, specially the ones that can push/knock back brog (snipers for example), is not recommended when clock is ticking and you want to finish them as soon as possible. Once you have completed secondary objective before the clock runs out then you may use whatever you got in your arsenal.
