guramba?

Both me (a tac captain) and my brother (an eng captain) have been eyeing the guramba for our nausicaan captains, mainly for PVE. I've not been able to dig up too much info on it though, so I was wondering what its strengths/weaknesses were. Any thoughts?

    Check the Klingon SHipyards forum. Theres a number of Garumba threads in there on effective builds. Its a nasty ship in PvE and quite the favorite for slapping around the borg in STF's. Enjoy.

    I've flown it on my Nausicaan since it came out. I used to fly a Raptor before that. So for me it was an easy transition as pre-siege mode, it basically IS a raptor. Post Siege Mode, it's a slow turning raptor with an amazing super boom gun.

    It's biggest weakness for me has been in PVP it doesn't cloak. Back then that was sometimes rough since most KDF ships at the time did cloak. These days, I'm guessing with the amount of non-Klingon ships in use (especially lockbox ships) there's less of a problem with the lack of cloak? I don't know. I so rarely PVP'd before I took a long break and haven't tried PVP since I came back.

    Anyways, I love ship. It's one of my favorites in the game and definitely my favorite in the KDF. I would love to get a custom Nausicaan themed bridge for it. But meh, I don't usually go onto my bridge that much anyways, so that's just like something I'd dig but don't really push for.

    Combat wise, it's capable of some fun tricks, solid DPS. It has weak slotting for staying alive powers, but in siege mode, IIRC, it gets some defensive boosters. So that helps.
