MACO / Borg mix - speed set

Just wondering if anyone has tested the effect of a borg engine with 2x maco set to see if we get the speed advantage from both sources. Would be good to know for the galaxy tour. I don't want to spend the resources on the MK XI Maco deflector if there is no advantage - I won't need it otherwise.

As a side note, does the graviton beam make the purchase worth while? I can see the difference between MK XI and XII is too little for me to waste the dilithium on a replacement set.

    I use omega and slipstream drive once it has recharged.

    I was going to say I'm not into the omega engine, but I just realised I got it all back-asswards. For some reason I thought that the maco speed boost was for a 2 piece set. Don't know where I got that one from.

    What I REALLY should be asking, is if any of these engine options have a REAL advantage from mk xi to xii.
