Is there a DPS Tracker I can download or see in STO?

    I am confused, how do people tell what DPS they are doing?

    You use third-party parsing tools. One I have used in the past is named the Advanced Combat Tracker

    It requires a STO plugin, see here

    There are other programs to choose from.

    An ingame one would be nice. The STO ACT is complete TRIBBLE and is about as accurate as the biblical prophecies.

    Yeah, never understood why games that depend on dps so much, don't put a dps meter in for the customers. You KNOW the devs have one.

    It would be great to have a battle summary even if it wasn't a real-time dps meter. Summary of dps, biggest hit given/taken, healing done, etc.
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    The link in the hilbert guide shows two plugins available. Which of the ACT STO plugins is better? Or does it matter?

    I've used STOICS before, but here on the forums people seem to think that ACT is better.

    This is probably top of my WANTS in-game.

    PVP maps have a form of this (a live Damage/Healing counter) but this should be improved and introduced into EVERY part of the game (solo/team PVE as well).

    It is simple game theory. When people run out of content they want something to do, and solo min/maxing or comaparative min/maxing with friends is the next thing that they will try.

    But this game currently doesn't support that, which is bizarre....

    This has to happen.
