romulan empire starbase

Apparently the 3rd faction its very close to make its appareance on Star Trek online, I'm wondering how many of you guys will try to develope the new romulan starbase now that its been made clear that small fleets will have a very hard time developing their bases? (by design BTW)..
Please this post its not intended to troll or flame anything, this its not my first language so be kind... I really want to know how many of you guy will try to develope a 3rd starbase.

    I didnt bother with SB with the other two so my chances of doing a rommy SB? roughly less than 0

    I am sure we will see more embassy projects , but doubt more then 1 starbase .

    I have a hard time believing that cryptic will make brand new sb designs or new walkthroughs like that for any new faction.
    It isn't cryptics mentality
    Should I start posting again after all this time?

    Depends on if Cryptic decides to do another full faction or if they just make it a starting faction. The first 20 levels are part of the Romulan faction, but Romulan players have to decide whether they want to work for the Federation or Klingon Empire. No need to make a new Starbase for that. Personally, I hate the idea that they might go for mini-factions, but I acknowledge that it is a possibility.

    Currently, all 11 of my Fed toons are in a "solo" fleet and I was working on a SB and had it nearing T2. In light of the recent teaser, I've postponed any further development of my Fed SB.

    All of my resources will be saved until at least May in case Cryptic does actually introduce a playable Romulan faction. If a playable Romulan faction does become a reality then I will be joining an RSE fleet and using my saved up resources towards helping to build out the fleet SB.

    None of my 3 KDF toons are in a fleet and I don't bother playing them very much. I had 7 KDF toons at one point but have since deleted 4 of them.

    I'm not going to bother. I'm already working very hard on a Fed and KDF Starbase, so you won't be seeing me contribute to Romulan one.

    if there do make a full rom faction i will help out with the fleet base but im not going to go mad with it like i have with my kdf fleet 1.5 mill fleet creds n about 800k fed side. got realy bored of the grind missions there dont give a good enough reward for my time. :(

    Lets not get ahead of ourselves. the faction has not been confirmed and neither has a starbase.

    if they made one, yes i would do it. i like romulans more than the others. i like the sense of purpose starbases bring, so would like to be in one.

    always helps if you can find a big or at least productive fleet.

    So...Romulans go from a broken, militarily obsolete faction scattered to the winds and riven by civil war to a faction that can mass produce huge military installations overnight?

    How exactly is that going to work?

    im already gathering resources and am planning to get the Romulan SB working, if needed - on my own :D

    although - i will have plenty of help for sure, as the excitement about playable Romulans is HUGE in our fleet! We do plan on getting BIG and FAST, and would like to invite all the Romulan die-hard fans to join our cause. The casuals, the PVPers, and also the grinders :D

    about design and special projects:
    - the base SB and embassy are not very hard to do (imho), cause it is basically walls and some stairs which are already done (look in the foundry)

    - special projects - most of them are also basic (a table with chairs, some statues...) some of them can take time, but i think there are more than enough sinks to keep a fleet occupied.

    ummm.....backing by the Iconians maybe?

    Reading Feb Ask Cryptic, it doesn't sound very close to me ....
    Dstahl: We are not ready to begin discussing the details of what is in our May update, however the reference definitely suggests that it is related to Romulans in some way. We will share more news about the update and give a clearer response to your question as we get closer to May.
