I'm getting a weird error message in my Task/Alerts tab

I just finished my latest foundry mission, but I can't publish it because I have an unfinished task.

The message is "Must place all components in Unplaced before proceeding. Map: Holodeck_Ugc_93464_2dd8ef84:414031326"

I have nothing in my unplaced tab, and my mission runs just fine. When I click the task it does not show me where the unfinished task is. It does nothing when I click it.

I went though my story board and deleted each part one by one to see if maybe it would go away, but that didn't work. When I check through my story board, all of my components and contacts were correct and on the right map. I went as far as deleting both of my maps and my entire story board but the error will not go away.

So there are number of things you might check for:

    1) Do you have any objectives which have been added to the story, but haven't been attached to a specific object.

    2) It's also possible to end up with orphaned dialog trees. Usually this happens when you delete a map or something like that. These can be a bit of a pain to find.

Check the stuff that greendragoon suggests, and if you can give me the mission ID, the ST-blahblah bit, I'll give it a look.

I got it. Thanks for the help guys!

Like thegreendragoon1 said, it was a rogue dialogue tree from a map that I deleted. I didn't realize it was possible that they could linger after I delete a map, but I will remember in case I have this problem again.

Once again, thanks for all of your help!
