STO Football (Soccer) matches

Anyone fancy a match, 5-a-side?

All we need is:

A large-ish flat area (maybe somewhere on Risa) to serve as a pitch.
Four of the Q's WW snowman statues (2 at each end of the pitch).
One balloon for the ball.

    One of the stupid things I do to blow off steam between matches is kick balloons over the railing into the "ball pit" (AKA, embassy ops).

    I don't suggest something so competitive though. There are too many rules and bylaws and traditions someone will want to drag in to make it a "proper game".

    Oddly enough, I approve.

    Issue 1 with this.

    physics pieces are rendered client side. not server side. so each client makes it own judgment on what goes where or if the thing is even there or not.

    as for the rest. well i am not going to start that.

    I saw the title of this thread and got excited thinking you were talking about something like Netrek: Hockey...

    Netrek Hockey
    Netrek Hockey is a cross between Netrek and, you guessed it, Ice Hockey. The planets are laid out to form a rectangular hockey-style rink, including goals. Ships use tractors and pressors to shove a puck around, fighting with phasers and torpedos as needed to get enemies out of the way.

    Which I think would be pretty awesome PvP training mission.

    Edit to add: Mission would be using specialized Miranda class ships.

    Fleet starbase, 4 snowmen + 1 tribble... (balloons fade too quick, tribbles are longer lasting and tastier) lol...

    Balloons and Tribbles are client side.

    They won't be in the same position for everybody.

    Sounds like someone doesn't want to run ISE another 1,000x. ;)

    This is cool and I would play if possible. That and ship/shuttle or avatar racing. Something more 'recreational' would make this game even more fun.

    I want the Ice rink from Q's Winter Wonderland, and the option to play hockey against other players or teams of 5 Klingons.

    Note: The Klingons will cheat.
