'Isis' Doff Ability?

I noticed that the Isis Doff is going for about 2 mil EC on the Exchange, but it doesn't sound like her ability (1% chance of Perception reduction every time a beam or cannon is fired) is particularly useful.

Am I misunderstanding her ability, or do people just buy her for the TOS reference?

    It's really not that great. All it does is reduce the range enemies can see you at.

    I some times slot this doff for PVE in the hopes that it will help me and my team. I am not cirtain wether it realy does.

    'If' an npcs perception range is the 10km at which it will shoot at you then possibly the doff will stop it firing at you or any one else outside 2km every now and again.

    But honestly without knowing what an enemies perception range is the usefullness of the doff is... uncirtain.
