Kits Forgotten?

Is it me or has kits been put on the back burner? Having lost the only vendor that sold then at the omega store at ds9 and before that the commendation vendor or for a short while a drop from ground STFs and those were MK X kits for each captain type, Now there are only the few rare blue ones from story missions that don't fill all the situations in ground combat and the IX versions that have more variety but are weaker overall and have less abilities as a whole...

So my question is is there a store on the fleet that offers newer more powerful version or is it something the developers have decided to forget for now?

    There are a limited selection for the kits above mk x, mostly 1 for each class in the embassy. The old mk x very rare can still be crafted.

    Maybe they'll put new ones in a lock box. Muahahaha. :D

    Embassy also includes Mk XI and Mk XII kit versions as well... (I like the looks of the Phaser Turret IV...)
