Mirror Chimera & Peghqu'

People who recently purchased a lifetime sub received one of these ships. With that said, I was wondering when Cryptic/PWE is going to release a mirror universe version for players who have not.

    Would be a kick in the teeth for the LTS/Veterans. Those ships are one of the very few truly exclusive game features they can own.

    just add the mirror skin to the ship... problem solved.

    Actualy if you remove the console and lock the higher level boff slots I don't think anyone would care.
    As a time traveller, Am I supposed to pack underwear or underwhen?

    HAHA.

    The Chimera (and its KDF equivalent) is arguably the best of the veteran rewards, and one of the biggest motivators for lifetime subs and gold subscribers. Do you really think Cryptic would just release a mirror version free for everyone?

    Yeah, ok, no. Thats not going to happen. It never will happen. And I sincerely hope it doesn't happen, because that would anger a whole lot of lifetimes and vets.

    Why? Without its special ability and universal stations its just another t5 ship. And perhaps I'dd buy one off the exchange so I could use the skin on my veteran version.

    Um.... no. there's more to it than that. It would be nice if vets could redecorate theirs to look like mirror ships.

    Not really. Without the ability and the universal boff slots there isn't much difference between them and any free t5 ship. Granted, even if you simply mirrored a standard escort layout you would be tankier, but you would also turn slower. There is nothing special about the ship other than the ability and universal slots. And its not like it would be free, some one would have paid money for it.

    Hell even the ability isn't all that great given that its restrictive and if you want the full effect you loose a console slot. It's greatest asses is the ability to mirror any escort boff setup as well as afew that no one else has.

    As long as the Vets/Lifers get the option to purchase a +1 Fleet Version.

    For Free. I use it on a couple of my chars who dont have lockbox/lobi ships.

    hell, i wish they would have made a version of the Veteran Destroyer for all tiers and you could dismiss/reclaim it for each tier and have it that way. you know so they got a ship that they could play the entire game in (looks wise) at least.

    My friends call me a uniform and ship junkie b/c I pretty much have them all (with the exception of a few) the ships I do not have however I'm not worried about simply b/c I can get one free on each toon when they reach VA.. namely the Galxey, Intrepid and Defiant. However... IF they made Mirror skins available for ALL ships to buy on the CStore, I'd buy these ships just to be able to put mirror skins on them. The skins are already in game and as I've said before in other post, allowing players to buy them would only be money in their pockets... "End of speech.. let's get to work."

    Vorcha: 4/4, 1, 10, 36,000, 3, 1500,

    So yeah.... it's not "that" interesting, but it'd be kinda pointless. It's still "better" than a regular escort. In some ways it's like a hybrid of a fast sci ship and an Escort.

    They are interesting looking ships so having a lesser version of it for free would be a very irritating move on Cryptic's part. The look of the ship is far more important than the console and bridge layout so giving that up to others that haven't paid for it would irritate everyone that has. I am still irritated that every lifer has this ship and didn't wait 1000 days to get it. Should have let the people that actually earned the ship have about a month before giving all vet rewards to every lifer. Having the Mirror skin available through some method without giving a ship very similar to the veteran ship is the only acceptable method.

    I thought the Vet ships where a time played reward that anyone could achieve if they play long enough?

    Veteran rewards were originally for amount of time played, but then it was changed to amount of time that you played while being subscribed due to F2P players in the game last January. Then last fall, the lifetime subscribers were given the perk that all veteran rewards would be given to them. With the new change, any veteran reward for over 1000 days subscribed and played is effectively just another lifetime perk because very few subscribers would be eligible for them. After all, what is the point of subscribing for 3 years when you can either go F2P or have a lifetime subscription?

    I think he meant it serious at first, it did not get the attention he was expecting, and is playing it as a joke....clearly he did not remember the rage when LTS got the ship....those were fun times.:D

    I would respect you if you try to defend your original post. Backing out and reversing your stance only deserves a big L on the forehead.

    Anyway, on topic: Chimera/Peg'hu is one of the most desirable ships in-game. It would be utterly stupid for Cryptic to make it available for free as a mirror ship (yes its virtually free even if its from a lockbox).

    Doesn't matter if Boff setup/Console is taken away, its the exclusivity which matters really. The moment Cryptic make it available for free as mirror ship, people will stop buying the LTS.
