Jem Bug & Dreadnought co-ownership question

So to get the bonus carrier bug you can launch do both of the Jem lockbox ships have to be opened on the same alt? (or opened by any character in the same account)

    yes you need both on the same toon and only that toon can buy the hanger bugs.
