Romulan MKII Space set

Love the set really good BUT I wish the skin pattern was a full hull design like the Reman set.

Please fantastic Star Trek Art Gods please change the skin for this! Also a giant Bird of Prey decal on the underside would be awesome and worth the Dilithium!

    Any one else agree with this? I plan on posting screen shots later today since people respond better to screen shots.

    This would sell it for me.
    I wish the 24th century ships had them on.

    Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
    JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

    I do like the green version of Aegis visual it has now, but would at least like some Warbird feathering in it as well. Plus it barely shows in many regions of space.

    I love this idea too. Naturally it would be Green instead of the Reman's hemotite finnish.

    Would also like a visual for the deflector. Since the shielding is kind of Aegis style, perhaps deflector might also do as Aegis, but use the Romulan territory pattern instead of hexes.

    I agree, the deflector should have a light green ,maybe, color to it and same with the engines but not as bright as the Borg ones. Also agree that it should have more of the raised texture wing style the warbirds have too.

    The Bird of prey decal on the bottom of the hull is more of an "I wish" thing, it probably won't happen.
    But I hope whomever made the graphic for the set sees this thread and would hopefully agree that an end game, end rep system space set for the Romulans should maybe have a better looking, if not on par, looking visual than the Reman set.

    It reminds me of the war paint on mirror universe ships. It doesn't look Romulan at all.

    Someone in game told me it reminded him of the decals on Ninja Turtle toys kinda like the shell paint you see on every toy. Not Very Romulan:(

    reminds me of the camaflage on the tanks we have for jungle warfare just less off it. and without the bird motif or anything there is nothing romulan about it

    Good question! I have an Akira with a pattern on it I'll post those shots when I can. I can tell you it still doesn't do the Romulan name justice.

    My first impression:

    That's a weird paint colour choice for an otherwise-canon looking ship. Oh, wait...that green stuff is the setgear. That doesn't even look Romulan at all, to me.

    Seriously...that's the most underwhelming bit of set gear I've ever seen. That probably wouldn't even show up on most green KDF ships.

    Why couldn't they have used a full-hull skin paint of that pale jade colour the Romulan warbirds in the game use, along with green nacelle-glow? THAT would look Romulan...this just looks...weird.

    So I've posted some pics of the Akira class with the MK XII Romulan space set skin. Take note these look better than on the Chimera mainly (I think) because I had a paint job with green coloring.

    Also one screenshot is of the Space set seen in darker areas. Looks like Aegis but with green piping.

    I does look nice in sector space, but whilst orbiting DS-9 it still looks a bit patchwork.
