The Look of Armor (ground)

Is there any armor that doesn't look like the metallic skin-tight body suit? I know there is MACO armor that looks pretty cool, but I hear it takes hours of runs through STFs to get that gear.

Any suggestions?

Not much you can do I'm afraid.

Enable the visuals for your kit. Other than that, I used to turn visuals off until I got MACO.

I turn all armour visuals off because it does not feel very Trek to me (never saw this in the shows) .... and it crumples my Admirals uniform

The Utility armor is not metallic (though it is skintight)...such as Energy Harness and Integrated Targeting.

I have all armor turned off on mine as well. The kits I might show at times if they look nice on top of the uniform. That was one of the first things I learned after I got the first armor. To turn it off.

Adapted MACO has tubes. Lots and lots of tubes.

Same here. I just assume that Starfleet R&D integrated some sort of nanoweave armor directly into the uniforms :)

The 'Mercenary' off-duty outfit in the C-Store might be a good choice perhaps?

Also...it doesn't take "hours of runs through STFs".

It just takes hours of Reputation building.

You can run a few STFs and have enough marks to run the 20 hour projects more than a few times. So then you can go days without needing to run any STFs.

Mercenary Set is good for your demands.
