General:
Added a GPL turn-in entry for the "Holiday Gift Receipts" from the 2011 Winter Event.
Updated the Chat Channel Admin window to resolve an issue where large channels were occasionally unable to make admin changes.
This includes the issue with muting and un-muting players.
Removed the nonfunctional radio buttons from the login screen.
Starbase Fleet Defense, 20-player:
Adjusted spawn positions for players with Tier 5 starbases so that they are less likely to spawn inside the starbase.
Adjusted the first enemy wave so that enemies should always spawn, even if the freighters are having trouble reaching the warp-out beacons.
Gateway:
Fleets! Basic fleet support is in.
This is in a beta state, and not all features have complete functionality.
Updated logging in:
Refreshing a page will no longer require a login.
Returning to Gateway after leaving it doesn't require a login unless you've been away for 30 minutes.
If you Log Out on the main page, you will need to log in again.
Added sounds on mouseover and click.
When an item has no cost it does not display the credit icon.
Added the option to hide your character in Gatway.
The button can be found in the Social Window Search tab by clicking on the Privacy button.

Romulan Reputation: The Tier 5 Distress Call now accepts White quality Duty Officers, as the description states, instead of Blues.

However you guys should check on the purple Romulan BOFFs. Apparently they all have the Subterfuge trait, but Tactical Officers should be Covert Operatives like the ones in the lower ranks.

This does fix the superior covert operative trait right? It should I'm just fearing the small chance that it doesn't. Also does two or more tac boffs stack with the covert Operative? Ex: 3.8% critical chance gets doubled with two boffs with superior covert operative to 7.6%?

It appears to translate to "Gateway" in Federation Standard. Language of origin is unknown....
They do stack. But only tacs have the crit+ trait. I now have base 16.4% critical chance. This is nice. So without two tac boffs I have 8.9% crit and with two tac boffs I have 16.4%.
Leadership trait is still broken though. No increase to hull repair skill stat, and no change to hull repair rate either.

They already limited this to tactical officers anyways. So worst case scenario is you have a defiant user or fleet mvam with 3 Rom Tac Boffs with +critical chance. Is it really going to be so bad? I mean in pvp you don't crit much because all players have such high defense. In pve this will be nice especially for NWS. 3.8%x3=11.4% max crit chance bonus. 8.9% (with assimilated, tachyon console, zpm console)+11.4%= 20.3%+APA (4.7% 0r 5.01%) 25%ish chance to crit then add in weapons that have crth modifiers. Say max 6% crith for a weapon that gives you 31% critical chance plus spec which maxed out gives you 1.5% critical chance which you end up with 32.5% critical chance. O_O
Now my current build is accx2 crth weapons. so 16.4%+APA+weaponSpec+weapon= 24.9% crit chance. If I change to accx2 critd I'll have 22.9% chance.
32.5% chance to crit is worst case scenario. But in pvp you need at least one acc modifier. MOst use accx3 because of the defense modifier so it would most likely be 32.5%-3.8% (most ships have 2 tac boff slots) -6% (pvp needs acc modifiers so if accx3 weapons... -6%)= 22.7% chance to crit is most likely what pvp players will have if they switch to romulan tac boffs that have the +crth trait.
Now I need to get my team romulan boffs for NWS. ^_^

I've tested my Bird of Prey with 2 green cooldown reducing Romulans and my cloak is now ready after 17 seconds. Works fine, thank you cryptic for fixing this

Leadership has a separate fix that is coming soon.
We're evaluating whether or not there needs to be a stack limit or a reduction in the numbers for the Romulan BOFFs with increased critical hit chance. No firm decision has been made at this time.
