Silver to Gold?

If a Silver player is enjoying the game, can they buy a retail copy of the game and get Gold benefits? And if so, how long does the gold status last?

    The game comes with 30$ days of game time.

    Then back to silver after that if you don't subscribe?

    What happens to the extra inventory slots and all?

    They stay on characters that you logged in with whilst you were gold, you won't earn any more at ranking up until you go gold again though.

    you should also look how much ECs you have. As a silver player your cap is 10 Mio., though you can buy cap upgrade.
