Have anyone heard of the Defiance?

Apparently they are launching this TV show about aliens and humans co-exhisting and they are launching some kind of gaming along to the TV show..

Why can't Star Trek launch something like that?

Start a new Trek series and launch A Game or use existing game like STO that is intertwine in the tv-serie. Have characters from the show show up and stories that take place in the "events" of the show.

    So... basically they're giving us three "new" shows:

    1) a renamed Time Trax series, which most people don't remember (though I enjoyed it)

    2) Milking more from BSG

    3) a renamed District 9 series, hopefully less disgusting this time
