Romulan Threat-Scaling Consoles

I have some questions about these, maybe one of you can help me.
Can I use 2 of them at the same time? Does the Threat Scaling stacks? And how do they work? Always increasing/decreasing the threat, or do they need activation?
BTW I'm thinking in a shield emitter/shield proc/threat reduce and a graviton generator/hull proc/threat reduce combo to my Vesta.

RnD and upgrade needs less RNG. Less lottery. Something has to change.

Yes, you can use multiple. Without someone actually testing and verifying the procs, I would assume they stack as well. Not sure how you'd test if the threat-scaling stacked though... The threat scaling does not need activation, and you can now purchase both +Th and -Th varieties of all consoles available.

I use two myself, the ones that add plasma damage proc to non plasma weapons don't stack to 5% proc chance. Yet they do have 2x 2.5% chance to proc, so in a way they are worth it and they may both proc at the same time. Though they don't add the proc to mines or torpedoes.

    define obsolete :D

The TC skill is an eng sci tctical skill that tac's should avoid like the creepy old guy at the club with a hand full of lollipops and stories of his days in high school football.

But the TC consoles reduces TC if I remember correctly so it's well worth it for a tac to use them. but i kinda way my worth on how many npc's i can get to shoot at mean with befaw and torp spread lol if i can out do dhc's but yeah it's worth it if you like plasma since the borg use it there must be something to it.
Even god rested. No work ethic.

honestly: i couldn't take a single useful bit of information out of it.

i was refering to the +106% threat generated buff on the console not the -65% threat...i do not care about the plasma dmg on it. (i actually took the one with the shield proc)

my intend of the question was, if it was possible to generate sufficent threat via the 106% to get and keep aggro even without skilling TC.
Don't want to waste a respecc token before being absolutely sure.

It amazes me with the number of times the devs have explained how these consoles work people still ask the same stupid questions.

The console does NOTHING to the Threat Control skill. It simply has the same end result (assuming you go for the +threat one).

Threat Control is 99 points when maxed. This means 99% more threat caused by you. The consoles give +106% threat. 1 console is better than 9 points in TC if you are going for threat.

For this post I am ignoring the damage resistance buff from the Threat Control skill.

There is a Dev response to what the consoles do and how it differs from the Threat Control Player skill. Im sure you can find it with a search.

As for the consoles, yes you can keep control over 95% of the players in the game with just a couple threat increasing consoles. This is assuming you have a proper build and ship.
