When this feautre is released, Will players have to purchase the Galaxy-R to get the console?

Personally, I Hope they do. The Saucer sep is the Galaxy-R's only special ability. It's not really fair to give it to another ship for free, and nobody would ever buy one if all you have to do is reclaim your Dred to get the saucer sep console. I'm aware it's not a terribly popular ship, but there are dedicated TNG fans of us out there that own one, and make the most out of it.

Anyway, i'm pretty sure the C-store description of the ship states that the ability to saucer seperate was sacrificed in order to install the spinal lance.

Your thoughts?

I honestly don't even care about this anymore. Just give me a Fleet version with a damned tenth console slot already!

I even have a Fleet Module for it already!!! JUST MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Doesn't matter to me, to me separating your ship is the worst idea ever, it's right up there with the future past kill me now console.

I have never lost to a ship that believes two weak versions of itself is a good idea.

Clearly you are not an advocate of overwhelming an enemy's defenses by delivering torpedoes and energy weapons to the target simultaneously along multiple vectors, while forcing the enemy to return fire against multiple moving targets which are able to evade enemy fire more effectively by virtue of being smaller, faster and more agile than a single large target.

Except for the fact that no saucer (not even oddy chevron) has torps.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once. B)

    lol you're assuming that i run DHC's.

I don't I just bafaw turn and torp spread and it don't see any eney standing after I do this.

Tricks like that work on bat-poppers. On me it's just a minor irritant like carriers without fighters your just a lawn ornament. And I have yet to lose to a ship of any class that cuts itself in two-three pieces specially when if you kill one piece it either blows up or it's systems are crippled

You have quite clearly never tried to play mission content in this ships, full impulse past your objective and have to turn around :P Popping off the heavy bit is a godsend.

Can be usefull in STF's too, when you need to get somewhere fast.

+10 Weapon power is also handy
