I have 300 or so contraband, not planning on selling some anytime soon as I need them for doffing and dilithium ;)

No you can't farm mass amounts of Contraband on the Fed side. If I work my 4 KDF toons hard doffing marauding I have gotten as much as 150+ contraband in 1 day.

Tell me a Fed toon that can pull in 40 contraband doffing in 1 day - not too hard with a KDF toon with the right purples and crits.:D

Have not seen the price up this high in season 7 - so either there is a massive demand due to people farming or less KDF putting it on the market - most likely a combination of both.

Personally i have not been doing as much as usual lately due to the winter event.

I am a Fed. In my strange and foreign land (Australia) we commonly call such a jab, followed by a raspberry, "taking the p**" :P

My KDF toon and crew is taking winter vacation at the wonderland.
I can get about 10 contraband a day normally (I have school so I can't keep track of my doff constantly).
I'm only turning those for dilithium so I can sell them for zen so my Fed toons can get the Vesta Pack.
My contraband ain't seeing the market ever!

KDF doesn't "take a day off." Ever. Reason? No off duty uniforms, mate. No Captain's Yachts, either. Unlike you Fed boys, we in the KDF pilot combat vessels. Not cruise ships. There's Contraband in places besides the Exchange y'know. :P :D

It's ok - perhaps if they made more c-store KDF content the Zen price would improve.

On the other note my main Orion Toon's "off" duty uniform is not allowed in this game sadly:eek: - and it not really a uniform at all - but i would pay zen for the "nude" option for her!

I'd gladly pay 10K zen for a 'private nude' option where you see everyone, or possibly just your own characters and possibly Boffs, nude, but those who haven't purchased see everything 'normal'.

I am told that there are mods that will do this.

ALL of it is being processed into dilith BY the Klingons because of the ZEN balance issue in the exchange

No! We have a sekret conspiracy to strangle the contraband market until Cryptic gives us the game content we've been asking for!

    It's foolproof!

So when Feds aren't wanting our ships or our Orion women, they want our contraband?

The day i'm in dire need of EC, I'll sell some. For now, i am egocentrically inclined to have Captain Kerayzee (KDF) turn her loot over to her twin sister Captain Kerayz (FED). Their bonds have strengthened since some one in the UFP decided that Captains better find their own dil, rather than having the UFP handing out the good stuff for free.

Who'd think that The FED would turn into a 'Orion'ic liberal scavenge and loot to your own moral limits-thing'. Muahaha. Long live the new terran empire!

Join some other admirals, find a desolate fully fnctional starbase, and create your own syndicate. Who needs Section 31, when you can buy some klink/ferengi/orion affiliates to do your dirty work...

Hoarding all mine :) Got 500 at the moment and looking to increase that to around 1000 in the next couple of weeks.

Since S7 hit I've had less incentive to play STFs and I'm not fond of most of the other content that rewards Dilithium so I just log in a few times a day to hand over contraband and generally make my cap from running that 3 times on each character + Dilithium from Doff missions (the 50's crit quite often to 150).

Finished the rep system now and in a couple of days I'll have the Breen ship on all my characters so its time to dial back on my STO time until the 3 year anniversary. Having a pile of contraband means you only have to log in for a few minutes every day and still be able to refine a decent chunk of Dilithium.

*checks* Yup that there is a case of altitis. Really severe one too.

There you go darkenzed all checked out, you're good to go. =)

and on topic, my doffs are all sick from a bad batch of warnog. They claim honor demands they have to drink all the rest so that no one else gets hurt by it. They'll go back to failing to find contraband but instead giving me an endless supply of small hypos and romulan ale next week.

    Contraband?

    Sell?

Aha, no. Given that it transforms into arguably one of the most useful currencies in the game, like hell am I selling any of that stuff. It all goes to my Fed Sci captain for Rep projects.

Additionally, I haven't taken my Klink Carrier captain into battle for a while now. So I have like, 3 Contraband on me. Still, until i've got everything I want from both Rom and Omega reputations, and the C-Store, AND anything else I need Dilith for, then and only then will I sell my Contraband.

Well ever ever since the High Counsel agreed to legalized the public use of all consumable Contraband in the Southern Regions of Qo'noS its become increasingly more difficult for some of our Warriors to part with.

Thank you. Nice to be appreciated. Sometimes the joke is much less funny after I type it out. But in this case, I'm glad I made someone smile.

Ha! Mine is a severe case? Not likely :P

Had to use them for something, its not worth playing them seriously these days as everything is geared to playing only one toon ;)
