at the moment this mission isnt recognizing my doffs with resolve...dispite having 9 engineers with resolve it only recognizes 4 :mad:

You can use any doff with resolve, but the engineering field increases the Success (Blue quality) chance. You can display entire roster and see this.

Done it 9 times now, with 20% Purple, 51% Blue, 29% Green chances, so far Ive had 1 Purple, 5 Blues and 3 Greens. Mostly you loose money compared to selling the powered consoles on the exchange, I got a (very unusually) tac console on the purple so I'm up cash wise (if you dont count buying the right doffs). It is just luck, only one of the blue consoles made it on to one of my ships, most go in the recycler.

I think you will likely make much more EC than if you had sold your powered artifacts, and certainly far more than the worth of the Jevonite, Lockets and Rare Traces.

It will take some time to pay back the cost of the best Doffs for this assignment though.

I have the best doffs and i still have a high green drop rate sto needs to increase the purple drop rate i've been doing it from beginning and VERY RARELY get a purple drop :mad:

What is your % for Purple drops?
Currently with my Doffs I get 24% Purple, 24% Green and 51% Blue ( I know it doesn't add up, probably half a percent on 2 of them)

When you say best doffs, are you talking about Purple Engineers with Stubborn or Efficient Traits (as well as Resolve)

I've been using this approach to since it came out about a year ago. (Though I did take a hiatus from STO for about 7 of those months.)

Depending which DOffs I have available at any give time I run the mission, I get anywhere from 20-25% or so for a Purple. I haven't keep a specific log, but I'm certain I've run the missions a couple dozen times and have received a purple Mk XII from a half-dozen of those attempts and in all cases it was something of no value to any of my toons (or the Exchange), so I vendored it. I did get a Mk XII Disruptor and a Mk XII Plasma boosing Tac consoles once each. And those were nice. Every other attempt came back with a worthless Green console. And not even a "good" green.

I don't go out of my way for these missions anymore. If I get the artifact I sell on the exchange and I save up for the consoles I want. Less frustration, but more direct/easier that way.
