How do i sell Purple MxII's?

From the upgraded STF loot tables, i'm now swimming in very high grade goodies, that unfortuntly have no use for me. It's either energy types i don't use, or Ship kits that i also don't use, because i like my Aegis set more.
For example, I just won Dual Tetryon Heavy Cannons MkXII [crtd x2] [Dmg]. Searching Very Rare Vice admiral ship weapons yeilds nothing. nor does changin fields and stuff.
People in zone chat say they are making a killing, and im annoyed because i'm sitting ontop of all the valuable gear, that i've got nothing to use it on!.
How are you people doing it?

I've noticed an issue where using the level filtering on mk xii gear doesn't work. Try redoing your search only using the very rare and ship weapon filters and it should work.

check the price on the item
gift it to a fleet mate
recycle it for energy credits
or just search for Dual Tetryon Heavy Cannons MkXII...nothing more
(be sure to search under ship weapons, you should always search under the acording category when using the exchange anyway...otherwise you get wrong search results)
you should find some now...sell it for the lowest price you see there, -1 EC
example: lowest price on exchange is 4020000, your price should be 4019999.
if the first lowest price is far less than the second, buy that cheap weapon and sell them both for the same amount, which would be the second lowest price -1 EC
whatever you do however, do not recycle them...never! take the time and bring all deflectors, shields, engines you find to a vendor and sell them there (do not go to ferengis) it pays off.
Brilliant advice. I'm sure they'll thank you for that when they sell a Phaser DHC [Acc]x3 for the price of a Phaser DHC [CrtH]x2 [Dmg] :P

I think the Vice Admiral selection in the exchange is a hold over for an increase in level cap.
there are vice admiral stuff around weapons shields armor defelectors(spelling idk) engines but you cant buy it on exchange you gotta earn it its bound on pick up gear
You used Or, to basically say "you can do this, or you can do this". They were even separately paragraphed. In other words, "do X, or do Y, and expect the same results".
Well yeah, that will happen if you only take PART of a sentence, not all of it :rolleyes:
