Federation symbol on the Galor removal

Is there anyway to remove it or am i stuck with the stupid symbol.

    I'm not sure that's possible .
    When the ship came out you could unbox it without a symbol but once you took it to the ship editor , you were stuck w/a faction symbol .
    Too bad as you can change the deflector/weapon coils from red to blue in the ship editor , but the cost was a faction symbol ... -- not a cost I was willing 2 pay .
