Fleet Party Was Success (YouTube)

Last night my fleet held and event open for all to attend. The idea was to have a party on our Starbase dance floor and give away about 100 million worth of items in EC plus EC itself.
Sadly my recording software on my laptop doesn't run as well as on my PC and the videos have the same effect as lag.
Despite the video quality. The videos show a big gathering on our Fleet Starbase and we think it is the biggest gathering since Fleet Starbase was added to the game. I had everyone form a line in-front of my GHQApophis character which is dressed as Santa right now. I gave out a bunch of great freebies which you will see in the video and later in the event we were giving out lock box keys.

The players invited to our base were added to a VIP list prior to the event and they requested to be added, but we never knew them before hand. We simply tweeted the event, posted in zone chat and a thread here on the forum.
It was a lot of fun and we challenge any fleet to better what we achieved in the hope that it starts something which can only be good for the game. The only rule I'm setting and it is one which a good fleet would agree with is not to blind invite people to your Starbase. It is no different than blind inviting recruits which we all know plenty fleets do in a rapid fashion.
Invite my fleet, Assimilated Initiative. We'll bring our party poppers.
