My math is wrong. 15 matches, 75 deaths for someone...

It's going to take 2 people a couple hours to do this.

More people would make it faster, but no different than how a team of 5 can race through New Romulus.

Good trick. Sounds like a grind hell for nothing but 8K dilithium. With the new Foundry changes, there are better ways to get the same dilithium + a bunch of marks. And without the PvP dailys this has to be the least efficient way for a Fed Captain to farm currencies.
REally? did you try doing the math for the results of 2 Dahar masters sluggin it out in ground?

Actually I've done it. There is a STO Wiki article that talks about it.

This is the old documented way to farm pvp accolades in a group.

It will get a character 8000 dilithium.

You'll get nothing but accolades in the process.

It's not very efficient nor entertaining, but to each their own.

If you want to farm accolades nothing beats the cap&hold or shanty town turkey shoot. Far more efficient for that than doing brief 5-kill arenas.
I'll sell you some weapons from New Romulus. Never fired, only dropped once.

This is going to sound like a real dumb question, but how exactly do I go about doing these? I can't find the mission "Hostile Engagements Against Enemy Leaders - Arenas" anywhere. I can start a team, and invite someone into a 1v1 against me and all that, but at no point does it say "Hostile Engagements Against Enemy Leaders - Arenas" and nowhere does it mention anything about dilithium.

I fear I am looking in the wrong place.

Calhoun gives this mission. If you haven't done the Kerrat and arena tutorials he won't give them out to you yet.

He's on K7 but all related missions should be under available for you. If you skipped a mission called neutral zone diplomacy that might be the problem.

I don't recall anyone here calling this a bug or an exploit, just something most players don't notice. Your statement is silly.

wow...we are getting a bit defensive...besides all the personal attacks...for those of us who do PvP and LOVE it...we know about it and its openly told by Cryptic on DIL 101 for everyone to see. At least doing PvP give you something as a perk :D

I doubt Cryptic mentioned having one person spawn camped in shuttle to speed things up. Not defensive at all. I don't know how you could even get that from what I said unless that's just what you want to see there.

Okay, so I've found him. Upon talking to him, all I get is:

"We're in danger of being overrun! I need captains who aren't afraid to take action and stop the Klingons."

I have nothing from him in my "available missions" tab.

    Hi... Moderator here...

Just to remind everybody about the Forum Rules...

Insults and anything else posted to try to make somebody angry is covered under the restriction against Flaming and Trolling.

    So stop it.

Also, we repeatedly remind people not to respond to trollish posts. Report them with a ticket. Or send a PM to the moderators; we won't respond directly but we will investigate.

I completely empathize with the impulse to return fire, but it just makes things worse and could get you into trouble.

Let's keep the conversation civil. There's no need for further hostility here.

Use good sense, a sense of humor, and when in doubt re-read the forum rules.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

    Live Long and Prosper,
