NADORC not always showing for all characters?

Thats the Negotiate Additional, etc, etc mission for CHildren's toys, but what I dont get is that sometimes it doesn't show for all 3 of my mains, even though they've all done it, it just showed up for one, and not the other two, and its been well over a week since it was last done, so, am I missing something, or do some doff missions just not show up sometimes across all your chars?

    You may be confusing the cooldown with the rarity of the assignment. The assignment has a roughly 3 day cooldown. This does NOT mean that 3 days after you complete it on each char, you should instantly see it pop up on all 3 char somewhere in cardassian space. Once you finish cooldown, you still have to deal with it being an uncommon assignment, which means you still have to roll the random chance that you may or may not get it. I often have to wait days after the cooldown ends to find it.

    Ah, so, there's still a mixing of missions in a sector from character to character? I didn't know that, I thought the missions were set every 4 hours across the board.

    While it's an uncommon assignment when it is available in a particular location, for example Rolor Nebula, it will sometimes only show for some characters and not all of them at that particular time.

    Even if all of them are no longer on CD.

    The rarity only affects the chance of it showing up in each Cardassian Sector per 4 hour cycle.
    If it shows up on 1 character it will show up on all others assuming:
    • They have completed the mission Negotiate Delivery of Rare Commodities.
    • They are not on the 76h cooldown.
    • They are in the same sector.
    • You are still in the same 4 hour cycle by the time you are through with all your characters.
    • The character is at least Level 40.

    The people from DOFFJobs are usually kind enough to put up all the missions they find.

    I do this mission chain a lot with my fed. I just saw it was in RN today
    so I went to get it with my Klingon but it didn't show.

    Is there some hidden requirement for the first mission (not the additional delivery)?
    Or is it bugged for some people?

    Separate mission for Fed/KDF. Just cause a Feddie sees it doesn't mean you will. Also, you're lvl 40+, right? I think that is part of it?

    I'm looking at the DOFFJOBS viewscreen where it shows as being in RN. I don't see a separate kdf area for this mission?

    -Firstly, this thread is more than a year old.
    -Secondly, the only requirement is for the character to be level 40 (if the wiki is to be believed).
    -Thirdly, do I understand your post correctly to say that your Fed does the repeatable chain a lot and saw the Repeatable, and you went to pick it up with your Klink but had never done it on your Klink before and therefore needed the first Non-repeatable assignment? The Non-repeatable and the Repeatable are not synchronized to each other so just because one is currently available does not mean the other will be. It is random chance if they're both up at the same time in the same place.

    Ah that's important extra info. I see that indeed they're both listed as being up, buuut humans are fallible so it could be a data entry error to say that both are up.

    Or who knows, patches in the past have broken assignment availability across different instances or per faction. Perhaps it's doing the 1-instance only bug again or something.
