Reset BOFF Skills?

If I use a character skill reset token will it also reset my BOFF skills? If not, is there any other way to reset my BOFF skills? I jacked mine all up before I figured out a good BOFF plan.

    No your BO-Skills won't be affected.

    You can retrain them -really cheap- at the BO-Trainer on Earth Space Dock. Note that there are abilities on commander level which you cant train there (like Attack Pattern Omega III). Those can be trained from other BOs you get as a reward from DOFF-missions or over the exchange.

    Ok, so if I use the BOFF trainer at ESD to train them in a new ability, does it reset their points so that I can re-distribute those training points?

    no, but you have (or will make) enough skill Points for your boff. They are not the same points you use for your character, believe me you will never run out of skill points for your Boff as you increase levels

    So when I train in a skill, I GET skill points (for BOFFs) to use in the newly trained skill.

    No, skill points for BOs are a reward from missions and destroying enemy ships. If you have a certain level, you will havem more than enough of them.

    I take it once you reach Vice Admiral you stop getting skill points to level up your Bridge Officers? I just dropped three white ones for three new purple ones and now I'm stuck with terminal Ensigns it seems, because I stopped getting skill points. Unless I go to Earth Space Dock to train them, or pick up other Bridge Officers?

    Nope, it goes into a 'reserve' pool of points that you can then spend on BOffs or other things like fleet projects.

    Look up 'Expertise'. Like deyyad and woodwhity said, it's very unlikely that you will ever, run out of these. Especially since it costs so little to train BOffs.

    Pretty much all your XP beyond lvl50 goes to the "bridge officer training fund" so you could, in theory, replace your entire crew every few months and then level your new crews' skills to max.
